The Overseer's Forbidden Library
In the Overseer's Forbidden Library, hunters appear as protagonists to conquer stories selected by the Overseer, claiming various rewards and growing.

- Unlocks upon clearing Story Chapter 23 on Normal Mode.
- On the Overseer's Forbidden Library page, you can view current notices, rules, eligible elements, and reward details.
- The Overseer's Forbidden Library rules rotate on a seasonal basis.
- Rewards reset and can be obtained each season.
*If a season ends during a stage, rewards up to the stage reached are delivered to your mailbox.
[The Overseer's Forbidden Library]
- You can check the prepared story shelf (stage) in the Overseer's Forbidden Library.
- Review the characters and Total Power required for each tier, then select and enter your desired tier.
*Characters: Refers to hunters available for use in the Overseer's Forbidden Library. Once selected as a protagonist, they can be deployed and utilized in battle.
- You can personally select Characters from the list of hunters you own.
- Selected Characters are eligible to become Protagonists, appearing in the story through a selection process.
- A minimum number of Characters must be selected. Selecting more than the required number grants specific effects for each additional hunter.
- Once selected, the Character's equipment settings such as artifacts and cores will be saved and cannot be changed.
*The information is saved temporarily for use during the Forbidden Library challenge.
*The save is removed once all the stories are cleared or when the story ends, allowing you to change the information.
*This method saves the information at the time of the challenge, allowing the player to change the information in modes outside the Forbidden Library.
(However, changes will not be reflected in the hunter formation for the Forbidden Library currently in progress.)
- After finalizing the Character selection, you can select the first Protagonist to appear in the story chosen by the Overseer.
- The Overseer's Bookmark hunter changes each season. Even if you don't own the hunter, you can use a trial version in battle.
- In the Overseer's Forbidden Library, all hunters are treated as possessing all elements.
*You can form your team freely without the usual restrictions based on elements.
- After completing a stage, you can select some of the randomly presented Characters to add to your roster of Protagonists.
- You can view the current status of Protagonist and Characters through View Protagonists.
- Upon clearing certain stages, a new path presented by Itarim of [Observation] allows you to restore Relevance, gain a buff, or exchange Protagonists.
1. A Verse Unwritten: Select a Protagonist to restore 1 Relevance.
2. Codex of Wishes: Gain a buff effect based on the conditions shown.
3. Switched Protagonist: Swap one of three random Characters for a Protagonist.
[The Overseer's Forbidden Library Calculation]
- Upon clearing the final story or ending a story in progress (mid-session calculation), you can view rewards based on the results.
- Stage Clear Rewards can only be claimed once per season, regardless of the tier (difficulty). (Stage Rewards are identical regardless of difficulty level.)
*However, higher difficulties allow you to challenge more advanced stages and earn greater rewards.
